Where do I start?! I can not say enough about this hotel! Typically, beach hotels are full of sand, moldy, mildewy, and dirty in my opinion. Not this hotel! 1. The pictures online are accurate. The hotel is not baiting you. I honestly thought the inside looked better in person. 2. Staff is super friendly!!! Feels like friends. The manager Scott is very helpful and knowledgeable about tourist activities. Ms Tammi is so warm and nurturing. My family just enjoyed her. 3. Hotel is very clean and smells FRESH. 4. Perfect location!!!!! A mile drive to the beach area. You are literally at the intersection to drive onto the Ferry to go to Rockport if you like. You can walk directly across the street to the gas station for various needs or to buy a beach parking pass. The golf cart rental place is next door. And oh BTW, the place to rent fishing or dolphin tours is directly across the street. We loved the dolphin tour. You can also walk across the street to a decent bar and restaurant. 5. The rooms have good sized fridge, microwave, and nice keurig. But from 6-9am daily they have a really nice continental breakfast. And the coffee was great. And a nice sitting area. 6. Two story hotel. Cozy and quaint. Perfect location. We will be back. I honestly did not love the port aransas beach itself. Here in early August the water is HOT and I was not a fan of the tar. I just felt really yucky in that water. But I think port aransas is a fun town and there are lots of other things to do besides the beach. So I definitely plan to come back and when I do, The Place is our place!!

I do not have anything negative to say about our stay here. The property and location were great. Clean rooms and facility. The rooms have a ceiling fan which was nice. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is located just off the ferry, however you do not hear any noise from the ferry. There were places to eat and get live bait for our fishing right across the street as well as down the road a little bit. Staff were all very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. The breakfast was always fresh and offered bagels, cereal, muffins, oatmeal and bread for toast, milk, orange juice, water and of course coffee.

This small hotel has a modern bright atmosphere with an exceptional staff. Breakfast is continental but the price is so great, we just grabbed a quick bite and had a late restaurant brunch. Our king suite room was large and clean. The location near the ferry, beach, Charlie’s pasture, and downtown made it so convenient. The only drawback was some noise from upstairs when late arrivals mid night woke us. The staff were helpful in correcting the problem. It is a 2 story with no elevator. We stayed downstairs in a King suite.

TheCLEANEST Hotel!! I typically bring my own sheets when staying somewhere, but this place didn’t require me to use them. The beds are super comfy, the interior is nicely done, it’s very fresh and new. The only bad thing is that there is no elevator. I did request a 1st floor room, and that request was satisfied. Clean, fridge clean & didn't freeze our water, coffee & Keurig maker, good seating, ceiling fan that moved the air around, working ac, toiletries, very comfortable bed, tv worked, clean carpet, speciality drapes & breakfast. Nice that no animals are allowed (no fleas in bed or animal yukiness) & didn't have to put up with any type of smoking or loud noises. Great luggage carrier to use. Great lighting inside & out.
